Joshua A. Spooner, 60, Hernando, died suddenly May 30, 2014. Mr Spooner was born in Palmerton, PA on Jan 18, 1954 to the late Joshua and Kathryn Spooner and resided in Citrus County the majority of his life. He served our country in the U.S. Army and worked for the Citrus Co. School System as a plumber with 20 years of service.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Teresa (Mitchell) Spooner, Hernando; his daughter, Brandi Spooner of Tennessee; a step son, Adam Lovett of Michigan; one brother, Phillip “Fred” Spooner, Hernando; two sisters, Carolyn Zemanik of Hernando and Cindy McKenzie of Arkansas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, June 7th at 1:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until hour of service. Flowers are welcome but those wishing to send memorials may direct them to: Citrus Co.
