Eugenia Ann High, 77, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away on May 26, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Florida. She was born on February 14, 1937 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Walter and Ethel (Cunningham) Garrett. Eugenia was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1990, coming from New Castle, Delaware. She attended Hernando United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Citrus County Shooting Club. Eugenia was a talented artist. She enjoyed creating oil paintings, pencil sketching, and acrylics. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and reading. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Shackelford of Wilmington. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard M. High of Beverly Hills. Other survivors include children Dale High of New York City, NY, Brian (Tina) High of Newark, DE, and Katherine Jennings of Wilmington, DE. 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
