Staci A Kline

STACI A. KLINE, age 50, died May 7, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of HPH Hospice while a beautiful sunset lit up her transition. Staci was born on May 6, 1964 in Elmira, NY. An advocate for education, she served in the Carthage, NY Central School System as an elementary principal. She also excelled as a music teacher, playing both bass and the euphonium and was involved in school organizations and community theater. Staci enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and boating. She battled her many health issues with courage, poise and grace. Left to cherish her memory is her lifetime partner of 26 years, Sue Whitney; brothers Joseph (Shannon) Kline, Charlotte, NC; sister Kandi (Daniel) Ranson, Huntersville, NC; brother-in-law, Lee Michael (Deborah) Whitney, Inverness; sister-in-law, Ann (Douglas) O’Connor, Highland Mills, NY; nieces Melissa and Heather and nephews Jacob, Andrew, Cooper, Conor, Zachariah, Adam, Michael, Donald and great-nephew Gavin, Michael, Wade, Chad and Karl. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald M. Kline. A kind and compassionate person, she will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched in her short time here. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. A further celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clayton, NY with a reception following at the Clayton Opera House.
