JAMES A. WEHRENBERG, 67 of Inverness, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Born on May 5, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert Wehrenberg and Phyllis (Love) Hall, he came to Citrus County in 2005 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was devoted to his maternal grandparents, William and Lena Love and spent a great deal of his childhood with them. James was a four sport letterman at Lake Weir High School, Class of ’64. Mr. Wehrenberg retired as Vice-President of sales for a surveying supply company. He served our country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed golfing, boating and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha Wehrenberg; two sisters, Marlis Wehrenberg, of Inverness and Michelle Tice, Middletown, OH. He was preceded in death by a brother David. James’ urn will be interred in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory of Inverness is assisting the family.
