Retha Beatrice Walker, age 101, Beverly Hills, FL died Apr 22, 2014 at Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto. Mrs Walker was born in Allen’s Creek, Tennessee on April 23, 1913 to the late Henry and Bertha (Tucker) Davis. She moved to this area in 1971 from Taylor, MI with her late husband, Henry Walker who preceded her in death in 2003. They were married for 73 years prior to his passing. She was a member of the Crystal River Church of Christ.
Retha is survived by 4 children, Henry A. Walker, Westland, MI; Virginia Sawyer, Beverly Hills, FL; Maxine Graham, Hernando, FL; Ruby Fox, Inverness; 15 grandchildren, several great grand, great great grand and great great great grandchildren.
Retha’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26th at 3:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Mr. George Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may fellowship with the family on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
