Marlene F Stearns

MARLENE F. STEARNS, age 68, Homosassa, went to be with her Lord on March 25, 2014. Marlene was born on August 18, 1945 in Lake Park, FL to the late Wylie and Dora (Priest) Inglett. She was employed by the Citrus County School System as a lunch room manager for Homosassa Elementary School and then Crystal River Elementary. An active member of Crystal River Church of God, she volunteered and enjoyed baking for her church family and friends. Left to treasure her memory is her husband of 48 years, Stanley Stearns, sons Jeff (Lisa) Stearns and Gary Stearns; her daughter Carla (Craig) Venard, and stepson Stanley Stearns, Jr. One of 13 siblings, she is also survived by her brother Eugene Inglett and sister Hazel Priest; grandchildren Joshua Stearns, Matthew Stearns, Jeff Stearns, Jr., Scott Stearns, Austin Boleware, Dillon Boleware, Craig Venard, Jr. and Nathan Stearns. A celebration of life service will be offered on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Crystal River Church of God. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
