Minnie M. Sockman

MINNIE M. SOCKMAN, age 71, Floral City, died March 12, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Minnie was born on February 16, 1943 in Wheeling, WV to the late David and Minnie (Auth) Richard. She was employed by Wal-Mart as a risk control leader. Minnie was a member of Floral City United Methodist Church and enjoyed Bible study and reading. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years, Richard Sockman; son Jimmy Carvoo, TX and daughter Rebecca Anne Steele, WV; stepson Richard (Christi) Sockman, WV and stepdaughters Melinda (Robert) Rhodes, IN and Shawn Sockman, WV; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A worship celebration and tribute to Minnie’s life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3:30 PM at Floral City United Methodist Church. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
