Robert Willey

Robert Willey, 88, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 under the care of Hospice of Marion County at Legacy House, Ocala, Florida. He was born on April 13, 1925 in Schenectady, New York to the late George and Rose (Saddlemire) Willey. Robert was an electrician with 19 years of service to the General Electric Corporation. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, and a protestant by faith. Robert enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lucy Willey, in 2009; and his brother John Willey. He is survived by his children Robert (Karen) Willey, Jr. of Albany, New York, Rose Marie (John) Mannato of Ocala, Florida; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 10:00 A.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Interment with military honors will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida following the service.
