Dorothy A Linhart

Dorothy Arlene Linhart, age 79, died March 1, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Dorothy was born on October 3, 1934 in Oneonta, NY to the late Earl W. and Hazel (Rogers) Briggs. She was a homemaker and also worked as a teacher’s aide in the Floral City School System. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Edwin “Ed” Linhart; sons Danny and his wife Cybil Linhart, Floral City and Chris Linhart, Hernando; daughter Marie E. Linhart, Inverness; sister Wanda and her husband Pete VanPelt, Zephyrhills; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah, Morgan, Shelby, Haleigh, Mattie and Will Linhart. She was preceded in death by brothers Robert and Doug Briggs. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery.
