JOHN DOUGLAS (DOUG) WILLIAMS, age 73, died February 14, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Doug was born on July 31, 1940 in Lansing, MI to the late John E. and Edith Williams. He served our country in the United States Navy. He was employed as an oiler for General Motors, a job he enjoyed very much. Doug was an avid outdoorsman, fishing, boating and camping. He liked to work crossword puzzles. Left to cherish his memory are his sons John D. (J.D.) Williams, Jr. and his wife Maria, Roswell, NM, Greg Williams and his wife Susan, Albuquerque, NM, his daughter Nicole Cornacchia and her husband Douglas, Warren, MI; his loving companion of 35 years, Sylvia Mann, Warren, MI; brothers Ed Williams, Caro, MI, Gerald Williams, Cape Canaveral, FL and David Williams, Newport News, VA; six grandchildren, Acacia, Brandon, Joshua, Tara, Isabella and Noah; 5 great-grandchildren. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
