MARIE A. RIELEY, age 88, Inverness, died January 29, 2014 under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Marie was born on February 22, 1925 in New Brunswick, Canada to the late James and Alma (Berube) Levesque. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker who was devoted to her family and the Lord. She enjoyed shopping, knitting, crocheting, music and watching game shows.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Robert (Crystal) Rieley of Shelton, CT; her daughters Marie Petzold, Prospect, CT, Donna Milinder, Inverness and Linda (Louis) Nunez, North Haven, CT; six grandchildren, Dawn Kosakowski, Carrie (James) Mills, who was her caretaker for the past three years, Nicole Nunez, Jennifer Rieley, Amy (Kyle) Page, Brian Rieley and step-granddaughter Tracy Nunez; 4 great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jesse Kosakowski, Sophie Mills and Ella Page, beloved first cousin, Loretta Boucher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John E. Rieley, her siblings Leo, Albert, Allyre, Simone and Isabella, a son-in-law, William Petzold.
A funeral service and tribute to her life will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:30 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Friends are invited to join the family in visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Memorial donations in Marie’s memory are suggested to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464 in lieu of flowers.
