Dorothy T Cummings

DOROTHY T. CUMMINGS, age 93, Inverness, died January 26, 2014 at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing Center. Dorothy was born on June 12, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank J. and Beatrice (Lipari) Cacase. She was a production worker for the Avon Products factory for many years. She loved to crochet and enjoyed her flowers, both inside and out. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Barbara Rashley, Inverness; her sister Frances Playford, NC; grandchildren Patricia Jackson, Paul Bennett and Lisa Mellon-Schwartz; five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. The family will greet friends from 9:00 AM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home until the procession leaves for the church. Memorial donations are suggested to Helping Hands Ministry of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
