Myrtle M Jackson

Myrtle Marie Jackson, 87, Floral City, died Dec 17, 2013 at the HPH Hospice Facility in Lecanto. A native of Marion County, FL., she was born June 25, 1926 to the late Albert and Mary (Moore) Markham and had resided in Citrus County over 69 years. She enjoyed caring for children, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Myrtle is survived by five children, Walter (Jerry) Steed, Jr. and wife Tarliece, Inverness; Larry Steed and wife, Renee, Floral City; Wayne Steed, Bushnell; Donald Steed and wife, Diane, Floral City; Elwyn Steed, Floral City; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter Steed and Robert Jackson. A funeral tribute to Myrtle’s life will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City. The family will greet friends in visitation from 4-6 PM on Sunday December 22, 2013 at the funeral home.
