LARRY ORVILLE DUGGAN, age 72, Inverness, died November 12, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Larry was born on September 15, 1941 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Peter and Alice (Nichols) Duggan. He served our country in the United States Army. Larry was employed as a project manager in marine construction with Inter-Bay. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, airboating, bowling, golfing and woodworking. He was a talented gunsmith who reloaded his own ammunition. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years, Janyce Sue Duggan; sons Larry W. Duggan, St. Petersburg and John S. (Amy) Duggan, Seminole, FL; stepson Gary A. (Jennifer) Russell, Inverness, FL; granddaughter Sabrina Russell and his sister Micki (Bobby) McClure, Chattanooga, TN; the mother of his children, Carolyn Cach and her son James. He was preceded in death by a stepson Bryan E. Russell; a brother Wally and sister Judy. A celebration tribute of Larry’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The family will receive friends in visitation from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service. Burial with military honors will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Memorial donations in Larry’s memory are requested to Citrus Aid Cancer Foundation, %Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute, 522 N. Lecanto Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461 in lieu of flowers.
