WALLACE CONRAD NOEGEL, age 86, Inverness, died November 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Wallace was born on October 30, 1927 in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late Perry and Ruth (Brown) Noegel and relocated to this area in 1977. He served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. Wallace was employed by American Can Company in Tampa for 31 years. He was a member of Fort Cooper Baptist Church for 35 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Lorraine Noegel; two sons, Glenn (Sandra) Noegel, Hernando and Reece (Holly) Noegel, Citrus Springs; his brother Ramon Noegel, Sefner; three grandchildren, Kurt, David and Kassi Noegel. He was preceded in death by a daughter Dana Perez in 2001. A funeral service and tribute to Wallace’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Fort Cooper Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery. The family will greet friends in visitation at the church from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service. Memorial donations may be made to Fort Cooper Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
