WALTER F. SCHELL, age 100, died September 30, 2013 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and HPH Hospice. Walter was born on February 13, 1913 in New York City to the late George and Frieda (Bender) Schell. He served our country in the United States Coast Guard. Walter was employed as a lineman for telephone companies. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of four years, Phyllis (Penny) Schell; stepsons Ronald (Kristi) Rice, Duluth, GA and Robert (Lynn) Rice, Power Springs, GA; grandchildren Maggie, Erin, Parker and Julia. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ella in 2005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 9:00 AM from Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.
