Frances Hoiaas

FRANCES HOIAAS, age 99, of Americus, GA and formerly of Inverness, died September 28, 2013. Frances was born on April 26, 1914 in New York City to the late Anthony and Vincenza Fontana. She relocated to this area in 1970 from Liberty, Maine. An excellent seamstress, she was employed as a sewing machine operator manufacturing musical instrument covers. Left to mourn her loss is her son, Richard Esseck, Bell, FL; daughters Joan Dunlin, The Villages, FL and Frances and her husband Moe Richheimer, Inverness; grandchildren Kathleen (John) Gore, Garnerville, NY, Kevin (Donna) Donlin, Valley Stream, NY, Cyndi (Tim) Hocking, Hinesville, GA, Amy-Lou (David) Holmes, Beverly Hills, FL, Joi-Marie Richheimer, Crystal River, FL and seven great-grandchildren, Caitlin Gore, John Chris Gore, Patrick Donlin, Kathleen Donlin, Kevin Donlin, Samantha Elyse Hocking and Ryan Mitchell Holmes. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ludwig Okkelberg and her second husband Harold Hoiaas. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. The family will receive friends in visitation from 10:00 AM until the procession leaves for the cemetery. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
