Daniel J. Bailey, 60, of Homosassa, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 5, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Helen (Wyant) Bailey. Daniel was a duct mechanic for the heating and cooling industry, and arrived in this area in 1997, coming from Columbus. He loved going to the beach and treasure hunting with his metal detector. Survivors include two brothers, William (Venus) Bailey, of Huntsville, Alabama, and Robert (Patricia) Hill of St. Petersburg, Florida; two sisters, Sandra (William) Ochs and Linda (Curt) Kelly, both of Homosassa, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
