Shirley A Osteen

Shirley A. Osteen, 74, of Homosassa, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida. She was born on April 19, 1939 in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Phillip E. and Anne (Mears) Lanning. Shirley was a hospital accounting clerk, and arrived in this area in 2003, coming from Tampa, Florida. She loved her community in Homossasa, and was involved in many of it’s community events. Her survivors include one son, Patrick (Sheila) Osteen of Brooksville, Florida; two daughters, Shannon L. (Brian) Butler of Lakeland, Florida, and Kimberly (John) Turner of Tampa; one brother, Phill Lanning; and two grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
