Ada M Rogers

ADA MARGARET ROGERS, age 93, Floral City, died August 20, 2013 at Avante at Inverness. Ada was born on February 25, 1920 in Middleport, NY to the late Joseph and Ethel (Cooper) Bateman. A woman of faith, she enjoyed her bible studies, cross stitching and crossword puzzles. Left to cherish her memory are siblings Paul Bateman, New Paltz, NY, Imogene Heiser, Middleport, NY and Marge McKee, Medina, NY; her niece, her husband and their family Marty and Thomas Ulrich, Lockport, NY. She was preceded in death by her first husband Francis Walsh, her second husband Joseph Rogers; brothers Ray, Richard, Edwin and Kenneth Bateman. A celebration tribute to Ada’s life will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 3:00 PM First United Methodist Church of Inverness with Pastor Sarah Campbell officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First United Methodist Church of Inverness. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
