Richard C Smith

RICHARD CHARLES SMITH, age 70, Hernando, died August 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of HPH Hospice at Barrington Place. Richard was born on July 5, 1943 in Port Huron, MI to the late Wilbur J. and Marie (Brophy) Smith. He was a painting contractor who enjoyed his work very much. He liked boating, fishing and working in his yard. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Janice Kay Smith, Hernando; his son Richard John Smith, Hernando; daughters Angela Loggins, Inverness and Andrea Richter, Hernando; brothers J. Fred (Joan) Smith, Largo, FL and Neil Thomas (Mary) Smith, Jacksonville, FL, nine grandchildren Nicholas, James, Jonathan, Natara, Demi, Dale Jason, Danielle, Carrisa and Brittany; his in-laws Stanley and Virginia Cesefske, Inverness and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald J. Smith in 2011 a brother and sister-in-law James Wilbur and Martha Smith and their son, Jeff. A celebration of life tribute service will be announced by the family at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
