Janice Alvarez Waller, 69, Inverness, died July 21, 2013 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House in Lecanto. Mrs. Waller was born in Istachatta FL on April 24, 1944 to the late Albert and Lois (Cuneo) Waller. She retired from law enforcement as a Corrections Officer and was a member of the Istachatta Church of Christ and VFW Post 7122 Ladies Auxillary. Janice enjoyed karaoke, playing her piano, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchilden.
She is survived by 4 children, Gregory (Denise) Simmons, Inverness; William Hess, III, Anchorage, Alaska; Anthony (Jessica) Hess, Inverness; Angie (Christopher) Ryan, Inverness; 5 brothers and 1 sister, Jack, Victor, Richard, Alan, and Boogie Waller and Nancy Inmon, all of Istachatta and Floral City; 15 grandchildren, Melinda, Gregory, Derek, Marshall, Nicholas, Tyler, Michael, Christa, Jaeden, Lee Ann, William IV; Jordyn, Chase, Alyssah, Brody.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 27th at 10:00 AM at the Chas. E Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery of Istachatta. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM.
