VINCENT OTIS QUERIPEL, age 84, Inverness, died June 26, 2013 at Arbor Trail. Vincent was born on August 2, 1928 in Morristown, NJ to the late William and Doris (Douglas) Queripel. He was a sales and heating engineer for Ace Plumbing and Heating in Vineland, NJ. Vincent’s ancestry dates back to the beginning of this country. His father’s ancestor was born on a clipper ship two weeks out of London (Torrens) and his mother’s ancestry dates back to William Brewster of Mayflower fame. He also had an ancestor (Caleb Putnam) who fought in the Revolutionary War. Vincent was a marvelously smooth ballroom dancer and certified dance instructor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 66 years, June (Porter) Queripel; 2 sons, Kenneth (Debby) Queripel and Ronald (Pat) Queripel, both of Upper Deerfield, NJ; 1 daughter, Linda (Ed) Foster, The Villages, FL, 4 grandchildren Christine, Lisa, Amy and Jillian; 3 great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Alicea and Ryan Vincent.
A Celebration of Life will be offered on Saturday, June 29th, 4:00 PM at Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Evans officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the hour of service.
