ETHEL (VIRGINIA) FIRTH, age 85, passed June 21, 2013 surrounded by her family and under the care of HPH Hospice. Virginia was born on September 26, 1927 in Tacoma, WA to the late Sigurd and Doris (LaMar) Linder. She was an Air Force wife, who travelled extensively with her husband, making a home for her family in England, The Philippines , Colorado, Virginia, Florida, Texas and Louisiana during her husband’s 21 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was fiercely loyal to her family and friendly to all she met. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to bowl and play bingo. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Frank Firth; daughters Linda and her husband Richard Guthrie, Thomaston, GA and Diana and her husband Phillip Fountain, St. Petersburg, FL, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas and a granddaughter, Rosalyne. ….. and He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. From her favorite hymn (In The Garden.)

Inurnment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
