Florian R Bovone

FLORIAN RICHARD BOVONE, age 84, Floral City, died June 15, 2013 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Florian was born in New York City on September 11, 1928 to the late Alexander and Josephine (DiFlorian) Bovone. He served our country in the United States Army. Florian was a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of New York City. He enjoyed playing tennis and biking, playing the piano and dancing the waltz and polka. He loved to work in his garden. Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 61 years, Louise Bovone; sons Richard (Katrina) Bovone, Spotsylvania, VA and David (Angi) Bovone, Wesley Chapel, FL; grandsons John and Gabriel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles. A tribute celebration to Florian’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory followed by Masonic Rites conducted by Memorial Lodge No. 119. The family will receive friends in visitation at Chas E Davis from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
