Gina D’Anna Barrett, 53, Dunnellon, died at home on June 8, 2013. Gina was born in Elmont, Long Island, NY and came to this area in 1997 from there. She was a LPN and had worked as a server for many years at Joeys Restaurant in Ocala and was of the Catholic Faith.
Left to mourn her loss is her son, Adam Barrett of Ocala; two brothers, Christopher D’Anna of Citrus Hills and Ronald D’Anna of Boca Raton, FL; seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Vincenza (Ferro) and an infant sister, Francis D’Anna.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 17th at 2:00 PM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church of Inverness. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday from 5-7 PM at Chas E Davis Funeral Home where there will be a Wake Vigil Service at 6:30 PM.
