JAMES G. PANEK, born October 21, 1935 in Plainfield, NJ, son of Ignatz Panek and Mary Gaspar passed away on May 25, 2014. James retired from Carpenters Local 455 in Somerville, NJ. James served with the U.S. Marine Corps, with the rank of Corporal. James interests included fishing, crossword puzzles and he enjoyed watching television. James and his wife Patricia resided in Whitehouse Station, NJ for 38 years before retiring to Inverness, FL in 2005. James and Patricia were married 55-1/2 years. He is survived by his sons James and Jeffrey; in addition four granddaughters, Elizabeth, Lauren, Samantha and Brittney; one grandson Zachary and three great-grandchildren. James also leaves two parrots, Gabby and Webster. At his request, funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Inverness or your local Human Society. Arrangements by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
