Bernard A McShane

Bernard A. “Bernie” McShane, 78, of Inverness, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto. He was born on March 7, 1935 in Wintrop, Massachusetts to the late Henry B. and Mary (McCauley) McShane. Bernie was an electrician and a member of Local Union #103, IBEW in Massachusetts, and retired from IBEW #77 in Seattle, with a total of fifty-seven years of membership. He arrived in this area in 2001, coming from Seattle, Washington. Bernie loved reading, taking walks with his dog Candy, traveling, riding rollercoasters, skydiving, and living a quite life. He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Mary. Other survivors include two sons, Bernard H. (Donna) McShane of Holbrook, Massachusetts, and Brian M. (Marianne) McShane-Parrelli of Rockland, Massachusetts ; one daughter, Joanne (John) Chionchio of Barre, Massachusetts; two sisters, Trudy Brown of Norwood, Massachusetts, and Ellie Tessicini of Mansfield, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernie’s name to Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, Fl 34464. Private arrangements under the care of Chas. E.
