Janet Chapin Richardson, 54, of Floral City, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was born on June 15, 1958 in San Francisco, California , and was a retired Banking Vice President. Janet arrived in this area in 2011, coming from West Paris, Maine, and loved animals; especially riding horses, which she showed competitively; and also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Survivors include her long time companion Marc Rainey of West Paris, Maine; two sons, Edward Chapin Porter of Natick, Massachusetts, and Nathaniel B. Chagnon of West Paris, Maine; her mother, Elsa Hackett of Floral City; two brothers, Harrison L. Richardson III of Portland, Maine, and James Brooks (Sarah) Richardson of South Portland, Maine; as well as many friends and extended family who will greatly miss her. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Janets name to an animal shelter of your choice. Private arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida. She is loved and missed.
