LOIS JANE PARSONS, 72 of Hernando, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Born on October 11, 1940 in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Guy and Garnet (Jeffrey) Fleck, she came here 26 years ago from Auburndale, FL. Jane worked in the bookkeeping department for Brannen Banks for over 25 years. Jane was a bird lover, an artist, and photographer, winning many awards at the Citrus County Fair.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 31 years, Charles C. Parsons, her children, Teresa Anne (Robert) Clarke, Queensbury, NY; Mark (Alison) Shepard, St. Petersburg; Charles “Bo” (Lisa) Parsons, Cottondale, FL; John (Debbie) Parsons, Santa Rosa, FL; Chad (Camille) Parsons, Portsmouth, FL; Greg (Lynn) Parsons, Auburndale, FL She is also survived by her brother, John and sisters, Julie and Elaine; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 15th from 5-7 pm at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
