LaVerne N. Bothe, age 90, Inverness, died November 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. LaVerne was born in Wisconsin on August 7, 1924 to the late Chester and Naomi (Lillie) LaPorte. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, nourishing her family and will be remembered as a kind and giving person. She loved being with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Lynette Huston, Inverness and her children Lee and Jeffrey; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn and another great-grandchild is expected soon. She is also survived by twin brother and sister Orley LaPorte and Arley Tomaszak, other sisters Dolores Waitman and Harla Timms. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Bothe, her son Edward Bothe, brothers Velo and Emmet LaPorte and sisters Audley LaPorte, Ione Cooper and Gertrude Schubert. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Citrus County for the excellent care, comfort and a special thanks to Michelle for her devotion and dedication to LaVerne throughout the last stage of her life.
