Donald R Weaver

Donald Robert Weaver, 85, of Inverness, Florida passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Arbor Trail Rehab & Nursing in Inverness. He was born on August 16, 1928 in Chelsea, Iowa to the late Stephen and Anna (Benesh) Weaver. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran, and a Linen and Laundry Director at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He was an active member of the VFW Post # 9127 in Des Moines, and the First Lutheran Church of Inverness. Donald loved gardening and adored his grandchildren, as they adored him. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eva Faye Weaver. Other survivors include his children, Steven Rinard of Ankeny, Iowa, and Sue Ann (John) Weaver of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister Irene Kupka; grandchildren Aaron, Amy ,Deana, Stephenie, and Wendy; and 7 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Private cremation arrangements by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
