Barbara A Barger

Barbara A. Barger, 63, of Hernando, Florida passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, under the care of Hospice of Citrus County, Inverness. She was born on December 4, 1949 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to the late Washington I. and Kathleen M. (Goshea) Whitley. Barbara was a cook in the food services industry, and arrived in this area in 1995, coming from Holyoke. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Lecanto, Florida, and enjoyed cooking, housekeeping, sewing, swimming, shopping at thrift stores, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Gary Barger. Other survivors include two sons, Andrew J. Moynihan of Holder, Florida, and Thomas E. Moynihan, and his wife Tina, of Hernando; and one brother, William I. Whitley of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida.
