Martha S. Blake, age 83, died on July 1, 2026 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto. Born in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Maggie (Hart) Haynes. Martha was a cousin of Conway Twitty and was a year behind Elvis in grade school.
Martha married her husband, Leo, on Valentine’s Day in 1985. After living in Alabama and Lake City, Florida, they settled in Citrus County in 2008. Martha enjoyed fishing and bowling. She was an avid reader.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Martha leaves her devoted family to cherish her memory. They include her husband, Leo; son, Michael A. (Denice) McLeod of Inverness; stepdaughter, Renee Blake of Daytona Beach, FL; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by her son, Charles “Larry” McLeod of Bushnell, FL; brothers, Robert and John, and sister, Betty.
