Francis “Paquita” Willis, age 93 of Lecanto passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026 at Highland Place Assisted Living Facility in Inverness under the care of Vitas Hospice.
She relocated to Lecanto, Florida in 1979 from Miami. Paquita is predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Willis and brother Domingo Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memories are three children: Granada Willis and John Gelin of Inverness; Dominic Willis and Jenny Willis of Seminole, Florida; John Willis of Homer, Alaska; 2 grandchildren: Rivers and Rain Willis.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, with Hospice Chaplain Warren Thompson officiating. Family and friends will be able share their thoughts and memories. Private burial arrangement will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Lecanto, Fl. In lieu of flowers, that family requests that you make donations to Vitas Hospice, P.O. Box 1330, Lecanto, FL 34460.
