Santo S. Girgenti

Santo S. Girgenti

Santo S. Girgenti, age 85, of Beverly Hills, FL, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather died at his residence surrounded by the love of his devoted family. Born in Melilli, Sicily, he was born to the late Barbarino Girgenti and Josephine (Bonamico) Girgenti.

Santo was formerly from Connecticut where he retired from a 20-year career with United Technologies and was a long-time member of the Garibaldi Society. He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, FL.

When he retired, he fully embraced the “Florida Lifestyle” walking on the beach and swimming in the pool. He enjoyed being outdoors golfing, fishing, gardening, and playing tennis.  He was known to join into an “Italian” card game on occasion. Santo was a true “family guy” who adored his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Anna (Ferrera) Girgenti; daughters, Josephine Perry (Anthony) of Middletown, CT and Anna Girgenti of Citrus springs; and was predeceased by his son Santo Salvatore Girgenti Junior.
