Susanne C. Guth

Susanne Guth of Inverness, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026,
surrounded by her family and dear friends. She will be lovingly remembered for her
warmth, faith, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Susanne was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Dorothy Colvin.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Mazza, and her husband, Michael, of Bayville,
New Jersey; her son, Paul Taylor, and his wife, Virginia, of Little Egg Harbor, New
Jersey; and her son, Keith Taylor, and his wife, Sally, of Inverness, Florida. She also
leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Susanne embraced her large blended family with warmth and compassion, and she
loved her eight stepchildren dearly. She was blessed to have found love three times:
with Ronald Taylor, George Buchan, and Douglas Guth, her beloved companion in later
years. Doug brought her great joy and comfort, and together they shared a life filled with
love, laughter, and treasured memories.
Susanne was deeply devoted to God and to her church, Shepherd of the Hills in
Lecanto, Florida. She had a compassionate spirit and was always ready to offer
comfort, encouragement, and kindness to those in need.
She enjoyed playing cards with friends, spending time on the golf course, and being
surrounded by the people she loved most. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith
touched the lives of many.
Susanne will be remembered for her loving nature, generosity, and gift for making
others feel welcome and valued.
She leaves behind family and friends who will miss her deeply and remember her with
enduring love.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Shepherd
of the Hills Episcopal Church, 2540 W Norvell Bryant Highway, Lecanto, Florida.
