Jean E. Neil

Jean E. Neil, 89, of Inverness, FL passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, FL. She was born in North Stratford, NH on August 19, 1936 to the late George H. and Marjorie (Taylor) Ellis. Jean was an insurance agency underwriter, and arrived in this area in 2006, coming from New Hampshire. She was Protestant by faith, and enjoyed playing golf. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally D’Alfonso. Survivors include her loving husband of 71 years, Robert Neil. Other survivors include her children Scott (Stephanie) Neil of Banks, Oregon, William (Kim) Neil of Portland, Oregon, Susan Neil (Danny Blandina) of New Boston, NH; and son in law Tony D’Alfonso; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
