Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On
Marilyn Connie Dibble

Marilyn Connie Dibble

Marilyn Connie Dibble, of Floral City, passed away peacefully under Vitas Hospice care at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 6, 2026. She was 81 years of age. Marilyn was born in Mobile, Alabama to Lee Roy and Connie Vera (Deloach) Cross.

She moved to Florida in 2018. Marilyn worked as a property manager for many years, managing apartment complexes. She met James Dibble in 1992, and they later married. They owned and operated their own mortgage company for many years in Standish, Maine. Marilyn and Jim moved up to Floral City just two years ago, hoping to give her a better quality of life with the quiet, small-town   community feel and scenery.

Marilyn was always known to have a smile on her face, and she loved doing for others, and most of the time she would put others ahead of herself. She loved going out to eat and listening to good music, especially Jimmy Buffett!

Marilyn was preceded in death by not only her parents, but also her siblings Michael Cross and Carolyn Cross. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 30+ years Jim Dibble; her son Adrian Wallace, Jr. (Pamela Feldman) of Boynton Beach; her daughter Andrea Wallace (Cliff Strout) of Trinity, FL; two grandchildren, Samantha Wallace and Adrian Wallace, III; and one great grandson, Walker Witek.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 17th, 2026, 1:00 PM, at Calvary Chapel Inverness officiated by Pastor Kevin Ballard. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Marilyn’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America @ https://alzfdn.org. Arrangements are in the care of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home.
