William R. McRoberts

William R. McRoberts, Jr. known locally as “Billy-Bo” passed away at Arbor Trail Rehab and Nursing Center on March 27, 2026 at the age of 67. Billy was born in Trenton, NJ to William “Bill” McRoberts and Emma “Bobbie” Kidwell McRoberts. He grew up in Allentown, NJ prior to moving to Florida in 1968.

Billy was definitely a character. He lived his life his way. He was quite a storyteller with the wildest of imaginations. Fishing, hunting, and collecting arrowheads were his favorite hobbies.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Bobbie McRoberts and sister, Robin Cantwell (Jim). He has two amazing children, lan McRoberts (Mary Ann) and Tara Cloer (AJ); two grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. Billy was predeceased by his son, William “Shane” McRoberts; father, William “Bill” McRoberts; and brother, Robert “Bobby” McRoberts.

Billy loved his 45 years in lnverness. His final resting place will be in the columbarium under a beautiful mossed covered oak tree in Oak Ridge Cemetery, lnverness. lnterment and celebration of life will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
