Michelle A. Berry, age 58, died February 26, 2026 under the care of Cornerstone Hospice at her home in Bushnell, FL. Born in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Joel and Joyce Deloris (Lesser) Penrod.
Michelle had been in this area for 17 years, arriving from St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed her work as a bartender. In her leisure time, Michelle loved family get-togethers where she could be surrounded by those she cherished most. She enjoyed listening to music, spending time on Facebook, and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed long rides with her partner and treasured the nights she spent with her grandchildren, making memories and simply being together.
In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her son, Buddy. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Erin (Gary) Gates of Belleview, FL; her sisters, Debbie (Joe) Spinoso of Bushnell FL; and Lisa (Rod) San Agustin of Tampa FL; Six grandchildren; Two great grandchildren; Two nephews; Three nieces; and her partner, Oscar.
Michelle will be remembered for her quick wit and contagious sense of humor, as well as the thoughtful way she delighted in putting together special gifts for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews — always finding joy in making others feel loved.
