Mary (Mali) Ann Longenecker

A much loved daughter, sister, aunt, wife and friend, Mary (Mali) Ann Longenecker, age 60, of Floral City, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, after a long struggle with health issues. Born in Dayton, Ohio to Sharon Lee (Smith) Longenecker and Douglas Porter Longenecker, MD. Mary resided in Floral City, Florida on her ranch with her beloved animals. She was a skilled ICU nurse and animal rescuer. Mary was passionate about rescuing animals of all types-this was her mission in life. She gave a home to all animals, and they became her family. She will be missed by all species of life. She had the courage and strength to live her life on her own terms. Mary was truly one of a kind and will be remembered by all who met her.
