Marleen Helen McElroy, age 74, Crystal River, FL passed away on February 14, 2026. Marleen was born in Ocala, FL on December 27, 1951 to the late Howard Milton McElroy and Helen Lillian (Kremp) McElroy but she spent most of her life in Citrus County, FL.
She was of the Christian Faith and attended several local churches.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Teresa Spano Smith of Shreveport, LA and Jan Zeiger of Cassellberry, FL; 3 sisters: Cherron Joy Douglas of Hernando, FL; Patricia M. McKenna of Inverness, FL; Peggy Czajkowski of Erie, PA; 3 grandchildren: Kinsie, David, and Loralei; 5 great grandchildren
There is a Celebration of Life Funeral scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Strickland will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The viewing will start at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
