Angelo Anthony Ingrassia, Sr, age 85 of Inverness, FL passed away November 17, 2025 in the HCA Ocala Hospital.
Angelo was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 1, 1940 to the late Ignazio and Rose (Billera) Ingrassia and came to this area in 1972 from New Jersey. He owned and operated Angelo’s Carts on Highway 41 South for many years. He was an avid Marksman and won many awards, a love he passed down to both his grandson and great-grandson. He had a talent for making his own fly-fishing lures and wood carvings, and some of his happiest moments were spent enjoying movie nights with his great-grandson.. Angelo also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, scuba diving and creating beautiful stained glass pieces.
Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Rose Amerson of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 Brothers, Michael Ingrassia of Nolensville, TN and Anthony “Tony” Ingrassia of New Port Richey, FL; 4 grandchildren: Mindy, Melodie, Marty, and Emma and 3 great grandchildren: Evan, Lainie, and Paisley.
Angelo was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Judith Ingrassia on May 25, 2019; he also lost his daughter, Donna Ingrassia on March 16, 2000; and his step son, John Knowles on December 10, 2005;
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness with Pastor Kevin Ballard of the Calvary Chapel Church officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
