Eugene Charles Putney, age 82, Inverness, FL passed away July 25, 2025 at the Vitas Hospice in Lecanto.
Eugene was born in Bronx, NY on September 14, 1942 to the late George and Mary Putney. He was the owner and operator of an airbrush company and tattoo shop.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (Patti) of Inverness; 2 sons: Eugene Putney and Gregory Umphress; 4 daughters: Jacqueline Howard, Pamela Putney, Claudine Fields, and Lacy Holland; 1 sister, Joan Brynes. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren . One of his greatest joys was watching his grandson Kalob play soccer and watching all the children grow. He was predeceased by 3 brothers: George, Robert, and Thomas.
The family will schedule a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
