Marie grew up in Ellenburg, New York, where she completed her high school education. She was a skilled wallpaper hanger beautifying homes with her craftsmanship. Her culinary skills were equally notable, especially during the holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings when she would prepare delicious meals and treats, her cinnamon rolls and gravy, being particularly renowned.

Also, fishing in Canada with her husband and sons (who secretly brought her along to cook and clean). Marie had nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Marie loved bingo, counted cross stitch, knitting, sewing, playing bridge with her friends and solving puzzles. These were a testament to her love for her hands-on approach to life and her knack for creating warm, inviting home environments.
Marie attended St Andrews and Our lady of Grace while living in Florida often accompanied by her great granddaughter Stella, where she found spiritual solace and community. Marie’s faith provided her with strength and comfort.
Marie was a loving mother to her children Deborah Giametta, Alan Trudeau, Diane Trudeau- Kopaskie, and Colleen Trudeau.

🙏🤗❤️ Miss you always gods peace
Marie Trudeau was truly a great cook, we had crafting and wallpapering in common. We met many many years ago when I purchased a Christmas tree from her husband, who owned and ran a Christmas tree farm. I loved them both dearly and she will be missed.
I remember her so well. I used to stop by the house on school mornings to catch a ride. She would bring me in and sit me down in the kitchen in front of a mile high stack of pancakes and they we so good. She always was kind but could be firm when we misbehaved. We were all lucky to have parents like her that cared enough to show us the right way! I remember one time she told me to make sure I put my rubbers over my shoes before I went out in the rain. I said, I didn’t want to and she gave me “the look”, I put them on and off to school I went.
May God’s Perfect peace be with her and all who mourn her passing.

My sister now you are at peace with the eternal rest of Jesus. Great memories of you when you lived in Irona near Altona, New York. you were like a second mother to me, caring and loving when I was in my teens. I’m so glad I was able to see you with my daughter Kim in October 2024 and we had a good visit. There is no greater love than Jesus. your sister.
Mrs. Trudeau, which is what I always called her, was the most welcoming person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. A dedicated mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend you could not find. The kindness I witnessed her extending to others always shocked me. When our LORD created Mrs. Trudeau, he knew to make her one of a kind. I have so missed her voice saying…..”oh Rosie, c’mon now” to every compliment I gave her. A tue angel walked this earth, and by example she made me a better person. My deepest sympathies to all her children and grand children. A special payer for
Diane who made a sacrificial choice to care for mom each and every day till the end! GOD BLESS US ALL AND HELP THOSE THAT MOURN HER PASSING REMEMBER HER GOODNESS.

I have so many cherished memories . Aunt Marie’s home was where I learned food is love and so began my passion for cooking . As children we would so enjoy her smoked salmon dip.! My brother’s and I would always look forward to it at Holidays ! I’ve made it ,but it never tasted as special as hers, maybe because Uncle Clarence caught the fish! Aunt Marie always had a place for us whether at home in Beacon or Camp in Chazy Lake. God Bless you and may you rest in peace at the Greater One’s side. Thank you for all you shared and taught me. I love you.
The first time my children and I met Marie she welcomed us into her family like one of her own. Regardless of the number of years that passed between visits to see her, Marie remembered everything about my family and was genuinely concerned about their welfare.
I am blessed to have known Marie and share in her life.
