Brent Joseph Hoffman

Brent Joseph Hoffman of Inverness passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at HCA Citrus Memorial Hospital. He was 62 years old.

Born on January 9, 1964, in Neptune, New Jersey, Brent was the son of the late Thomas Joseph Hoffman and Katherine Myrene Parker Hoffman.

Brent dedicated many years of his career to the racing industry, where he worked as a track supervisor. In 2011, he married the love of his life, Maryann Hulak. Together, they built a life filled with love and family. In 2018, they relocated from Union Beach, New Jersey, to Inverness, Florida, where they made their home.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Joseph Hoffman.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Maryann Hoffman of Inverness; his son, Thomas J. Hoffman of Inverness; his daughters, Veronica K. Gotto and her husband, Ryan, of Warren, Massachusetts, and Addison K. Hoffman of Inverness; his mother, Katherine Myrene Hoffman of Inverness; his mother in law Clara Hulak of Inverness; his brother, Robert Hoffman, and sister-in-law, Diana, of Inverness; his nephew, Robert Hoffman Jr. of Union Beach, New Jersey; his niece, Amanda Hoffman of Inverness; and the newest joy in his life, his beloved grandson, Jude Gotto of Warren, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his beloved corgis, Rosie and Stella.

Brent will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
