Mr. Morton May, age 97 of Inverness, FL passed away on August 26, 2026 at his residence under the care of HPH Hospice. He was born in Rock Springs, WY on November 11, 1928 to the late William and Elsie (Sprowell) May and moved here from Wyoming. He was a retired professor teaching in the agriculture industry. He also served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of V.F.W. Post 7122 in Floral City.
Left to cherish his memory are 2 children: Michael Kovich and Carmen Tanner: There are also several grand children and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Darlene May who died September 30, 2017, a stepson Daniel Kovich and 2 daughters, Carol Cline and Teresa.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date at V.F.W. Post 7122 in Floral City. Committal services will be at a later date in Wyoming. Cremation is under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home , Inverness, FL
