Mary M. (Deel) Andry, 96, of Hernando, Florida, formerly of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away August 3, 2026. Born in Mount Vernon, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lola (Chumbley) Deel. Mary was married November 29, 1947 to Verner M. Andry, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 22, 2022.
In addition to her parents and late husband, Mary was also preceded in death by her Siblings; Mildred Kellams Cook, Lester Deel, Ruth Ann Raufeisen, Samuel Everett Deel and Janice Ball; one Grandson, Joseph Smitson; and one Granddaughter, Jeannie Verkamp.
Mary is survived by three daughters: Barbara (Rick) Persinger of St. Anthony, Indiana, Donna (Clarence) Verkamp of Celestine, Indiana, and Sheila (Michael) Wiseman of Hernando, Florida; 11 Grandkids; 2 step Grandkids; 20 Great Grandkids; 5 step Great Grandkids; 7 Great Great Grandkids and 2 Great Great Great Grandkids.
A Private family burial will take place at Mentor Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana at a later date.
The family is being assisted by the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
