Sandra B. Ewing

Sandra B Ewing passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2026 at Timber Ridge nursing facility in Ocala Florida. She was born on August 28th, 1939 in Waynesville, North Carolina. At 3 years of age, she was diagnosed as a juvenile diabetic. At 86, she outlived all expectations of her lifespan.
Sandra attended Brenau Academy and LaGrange business college in Georgia. She would reminisce about school dances with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her lips. She loved to dance!
She was a member of Riverside Christian Fellowship for many years. She loved her church family. The Good Spirit Foundation was dear to her heart. Sandy and her late husband Bobby volunteered at their annual summer camp for numerous years. Sandra was known for her sweet disposition and love for everyone. She never met a stranger!

She was preceded in death by her late husband Bobby Ewing, her mother Mary Frances Messer, her father Earl Messer and her son James Haynes. She is survived by her brother Ed Messer and his wife Sue, her brother Randy Messer and his wife Jodi, her daughter Lynda Rigoulot , as well as her grandsons Collin Rigoulot and his wife Kaylyn and Tyler Rigoulot. Sandra was immensely proud of her family and all of their endeavors.
Services will be held at Charles E Davis Funeral Home in Inverness on Sunday, February 15th, 2026. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. and services at 3:30 p.m. There will be a small reception at Riverside Christian fellowship Church afterwards.
